Altera Home makes soy candles, reed diffusers and botanical bath goods in small batches. Simple materials, honest quantities, and a scent that reads clean rather than loud.
The collection
Made in batches of ninety
Every pour is logged, cured for two weeks and burn-tested before it leaves the studio. Nothing is made in a quantity we cannot check by hand.
Soy and coconut wax
A soft blend that burns evenly to the edge and washes out of the glass with warm water, so the vessel gets a second life.
Cotton wicks, no dye
Braided cotton, trimmed to the vessel. We leave the wax its own colour rather than tinting it to match a photograph.
Shipped in two days
Orders leave the studio within two business days, packed in moulded pulp. Free carriage on orders over $75.
Our approach
Fewer scents, made properly
We keep a short list on purpose. A scent stays in the range only while we can source the same oils at the same grade, which is why the collection moves slowly and why some things sell out and come back a season later rather than being reformulated around whatever is available.
Everything is poured, labelled and packed by the same small team in Scottsdale, Arizona. If something arrives wrong, it is one of us who reads the email and one of us who sends the replacement.
